Seoul, South Korea - It comes as absolutely no surprise to me that the truth is finally making its way to the public. After months of utter irrationality - socially, domestically, politically, administratively and within the press - we have learned that the police have confiscated revealing documents from the Korea Alliance for Progressive Movement office. The JoongAng went on to detail some of the conversations that took place between various civic groups which spurred the anti-American beef rallies to a frenzy:

“If Lee Myung-bak and the United States do not make a serious mistake, we have no choice but to wait until 2010. We need to foster a strong political opposition front by combining anti-American sentiments and President Lee’s faulty policies.”

“If we merely focus on demanding U.S. beef renegotiations, it can swamp our real intention, which is to bring down the Lee Myung-bak administration.”

Surprise, surprise! I want my readers to note that I feel absolutely no sympathy for the Lee administration which demonstrated extremely poor leadership during the domestic uprising. Even further, I feel less sorry for the South Koreans, who contributed to the demonstrations, as a whole. It’s sad to say that the average South Korean living in Seoul was shallow enough to play right into the hands of these disgusting “civic” groups which actually care less about the safety of beef and human health and more about fulfilling their political agenda to topple the Lee administration. Acting as pawns for these various organizations, we saw teachers, students, doctors, monks and priests taking to the streets to demonstrate their enthusiasm for the freedom of speech and expression. Instead, Koreans pummeled their economy into the ground and made a complete embarrassment of their country in the eyes of the international community.

Why were you duped by these lies? Do you still believe American beef is unsafe despite the overwhelming support of the world’s scientific community which states otherwise?
